Ena Mori: Heartache Generation

Ena Mori is a musician under independent label Offshore Music Philippines. She is known for her eccentric performances and innovative tunes. She needed a music video for her new single, “Heartache Generation.” The single was going to be released a week before she was to be given the “Rulebreaker Award” at Billboard Magazine’s “Women in Music 2024.”

“Heartache Generation” was inspired by an existential crisis that Mori experienced nearing her birthday. We wanted to show this from Mori’s literal POV: so we planned to film the entire music video using Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. And since the wearable piece of tech was made to allow the user to livestream what they were seeing, we decided to livestream the video itself.
