In nowadays, the number of disabled people and elderly keep increasing, they lack of public health equipment and budget to support themselves. Moreover, the hospital needs to use wheelchairs for service the patient as well. Cart wheelchair DIY is designed so that it can be made in basic workshops, modify second-hand shopping cart and add more some facility for more comforting such as small basket, seat cushion and hand brake. Charity donations of unsuitable wheelchairs are well-intentioned local manufacture keeps low costs which means the user can communicate directly with the manufacturer, enabling custom modifications where needed. And beyond… Ultimately we would like to expand our reach to war torn countries, and the rest of the world.
