On World Water Day (03/22), National Geographic Latam launched the album "Sounds of future Ocean", to make people aware of the plastic issue on our planet. The album contains 4 tracks with sounds made only with plastic removed from the ocean, and taken to a recording studio. The ocean sounds were recreated using cinema technique called "foley" and represent each of the environments most affected by plastic: beach, open sea, glacier and deep ocean. At the end of every track, a message explains what was used to create those sounds and invites people to rethink their consumption.

Sounds of Future Ocean is part of the "Planet or Plastic?" brand campaign and it was available since march 22 on all music streaming platforms.

Besides the album, the campaign will have TV and radio spots, events activation, social and digital content all over Latin America.
National Geographic worked with NGO Mar Limpo and Studio Bandeira8 in this project.
