Our forests are burning. Our ice caps are melting. Our oceans are choking. Water scarcity and heat waves are the new reality. A Climate Emergency is upon us, and we must ACT. Come September 20, millions of young individuals across the world will be leaving their workplaces, their homes, and taking to the streets as part of the Global Climate Strike, in solidarity with Greta Thunberg's movement asking our governments to take charge on abating climate change. In India too, we're living in the midst of a climate emergency. As floods ravage different parts of the country, precious mangroves continue to be destroyed, coastal ecology disturbed, and dams built, threatening the lives of native fish species.
