BBC Creative has helped launch series 3 of 'That Peter Crouch Podcast' on BBC Sounds by creating a fake tattoo of the former England striker doing his famous 'robot' celebration on his own arm, in a tribute to the podcast. The host then surprised his wife Abbey Clancy on Facetime with his new "tattoo", in an excruciatingly awkward but hilarious phone call. Crouch admitted she was “going to be fuming” before he relayed the news. An understandably furious Abbey Clancy questioned why on earth he would get the tattoo before stating "If that is on your arm, don't come home” before hanging up on him, which was swiftly followed by Crouch and the camera crew erupting in laughter. That Peter Podcast is one of the most popular podcasts on BBC Sounds, with BBC Sport’s Tom Fordyce and Radio 1’s Chris Stark joining Peter Crouch as they discuss the realities of being a professional footballer. The video was posted to the BBC Sounds Facebook page as well as the 5 Live, 5 Live Sport, Match of the Day, Radio 1 and BBC master-brand Facebook pages. In just over a week the video has amassed 1.2m+ total views.
