Verizon’s heartfelt Super Bowl spot titled, “The Amazing Things 5G Won’t Do,” just went live on air. Narrated by Academy Award winner Harrison Ford, the commercial focuses on what 5G technology will never do – replace the bravery and dedication of first responders, a community that has been a critical Verizon partner for decades. The spot also features the song River Cross, an unreleased track from two-time Grammy-award winning music artist Pearl Jam, from their upcoming album, Gigaton. Additionally, Verizon enlisted two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning to narrate the brand’s :30 commercial titled, “Closing Time,” which will air immediately after the game and comedian Jenny Slate for their digital-only spots titled “Heartbreak” and “Faster.”
