Volkswagen has launched a new campaign - titled #WeNotMe - from Grabarz + Partner, in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The car manufacturer from Hanover shows that there are more important things than individual needs in its latest advert. For example, respect and recognition for those who are working hard to ensure our well-being. The coronavirus has the world in its grip. It is really throwing our lives off track, and many things are now different from what we were used to. The Internet is slower than usual, supermarket shelves are not being refilled as quickly and parcels are taking longer to arrive. By and large, we are making things work, but it is the little things that are increasingly getting to many of us. All the more so, the longer the crisis goes on. Under the motto #WeNotMe Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is calling on all of us not to get worked up about the little things, but to show respect for those who are keeping our country going at the present time. The call is based around a 60-second advert that uses emotional images to convey the difficult everyday lives of the target groups of the commercial vehicle manufacturer – alongside negative comments made online which these people have to deal with every day.
