Despite enjoying the lofty accolade of ‘worlds best Merlot’, Irvine Wines Grand Merlot is a disarmingly accessible and deliciously enjoyable wine. But it does have its issues. While it makes for the perfect gift, when a wine is this good it makes it very hard to share. To bring this unexpected insight to life we flipped the usual gift giving scenario and gave it a dark little twist.
