Leading buy now, pay later (BNPL) company Zip launched a new brand campaign Can I Zip It? Yes You Can! featuring six Australian celebrities and a take on a classic hip hop track. The campaign was created in partnership with socially-led creative agency, We Are Social collaborating with Facebook Creative Shop and independent media agency Avenue C to demonstrate how Aussies can shop just about anywhere using Zip. The campaign communicates Zip's point of difference from most other BNPL providers. Zip is accepted anywhere that accepts Visa contactless payments, whereas most other BNPL services can only be used at retailers that have formed a commercial agreement with them. Only 15% of retailers have such an agreement with a BNPL service. Can I Zip It? Yes You Can! celebrates Zip as the most widely available BNPL provider in Australia through a series of talent-led films and a rework of the classic track ‘Can I Kick It?’ The campaign will run in OOH, radio and social media. The films feature a cast of six of Australia’s most vibrant personalities, demonstrating the breadth of things Australians can purchase using Zip. The talent includes international tennis star Nick Kyrgios; TV personality, DJ and fashion influencer Flex Mami; Masterchef judge and renowned food critic Melissa Leong; Channel Nine’s The Block judge and interior designer Darren Palmer; international DJ and professional surfer Fisher; and popular beauty influencer Rowi Singh.
