With many schools transitioning to a virtual learning model, many extracurriculars have struggled, leaving … read morestudents without a vital outlet for social connection. In this film, Cox partners with a middle school drama class to help them connect by turning their (cancelled) school play into an original animated film, “Drawn Closer.” Working with Oscar-winning director Patrick Osborne, we used technology to capture the students' voices and performances, giving the class the chance to perform together again from the safety of their own homes. This film was produced by Cox and ad agency 180LA for The Connections Project – a series of initiatives directed at providing human connection where it’s needed most. We tell stories that inspire all of us to stay connected and show the power technology has to bring us closer to one another during difficult times.
