Fifty five straight games without a win and a reputation that any Brazilian soccer lover knows: the worst team in the world. Íbis Sport Club, a team from Pernambuco and owner of one of the world's most engaged Twitter profiles was chosen to launch the soccer Fantasy Game BetssonFC, from Betsson - one of the world's largest online gambling and betting groups.
To announce this news, Bold created the concept "Everyone can play with the best in the world. Even you" and designed a communication strategy where the purchase of Ibis' master sponsorship is the center of everything. The content behind the campaign was strategically thought to create buzz and boost engagement in Betsson's and Íbis Sport Club's social networks, starting with the warm-up about the master quota, which encouraged the soccer community to find out who was behind the biggest sponsorship in the Club's history. It also includes digital pieces, the participation of influencers such as Bolívia (ex-desimpedidos), Hugo Valença, and FuleragemFC and film (45", 30" and 15" versions) starring the players and recorded at the Arena Pernambuco.
