The world's largest online platform for used photography and videography equipment, MPB, has launched its first brand campaign 'Change Gear', via London creative agency CPB, to support the company’s mission to open up the world of visual storytelling by making it more accessible, affordable - and sustainable. MPB earlier this year raised 58.4M to expand its online platform in a funding round that was led by Vitruvian Partners, investors with a track record of investing in circular companies including Vestiaire Collective. MPB currently recirculates more than 300,000 items of used kit every year, extending the life and creative potential of photo and video kit for visual storytellers around the world. The team are now doubling down their circularity message as attitudes towards sustainability change and environmentally conscious consumers look to reduce their footprint in the world. In the new film we see a montage of iconic shots interspersed with other stirring imagery. A voiceover reminds us how one picture has the power to change how we see ourselves, to change rules, lives, and history, “Now let’s see the bigger picture: change access. Put the camera kit in more hands, sustainably” the voiceover prompts.
