Bullion have partnered with children's charity Magic Breakfast to raise awareness of the widespread poverty and hunger being faced by families across the UK. The issue has been brought to life in a new emotive film, 'No Child Too Hungry to Learn', which paints a powerful picture of families living in food insecurity and the 2.5 million UK children at risk of starting the day hungry. The six-minute film provides a moving account of hunger and poverty, featuring real families sharing their experiences of struggling to feed themselves and their children. Shockingly, one mother reflects on a time when she had to resort to eating dog food, while another, who works as a Community Nurse, describes having sleepless nights worrying about when she’ll have enough to pay for the food shop to feed her two young boys. The film also highlights the work Magic Breakfast does to help tackle child hunger in schools, and the impact breakfast can have on a child’s ability to break out of the cycle of poverty.
