Movie making maestro Martin Aamund once again teams up with Papaya Films for the latest commercial for beer brand Grimbergen. In typically flawless fashion Martin's aesthetic and direction creates a story that sends the audience and the main protagonist on a tranquil journey through different worlds.
Agency: Nco / Fold 7 The story starts off simple: a man in a bar orders a pint of Grimbergen and after smelling the aromas he is then transported into another world, a world of discovery and flavours. The commercial expertly blends live action with stunning VFX work that help to create a surreal dream-like quality to the narrative, like stepping into a beautiful work of art. From beautiful golden landscapes to digitally created wild animals we witness a variety of otherworldly imagery that somehow still feels familiar and calming. Then we are greeted with a great Phoenix covered in flames referencing the ionic brand image of Grimbergen 'The Beer of The Phoenix' that carries our character back to the bar, now a changed man his life will never be the same.
