The Day That Hunger Ended is a fable from the year 2030, where benefactors are invited to become the hero characters who end hunger forever. With the aim of ending hunger by 2030, Foodbank WA created, via The Brand Agency, a bold new fundraising strategy - a benefactor programme inviting philanthropists to join a select group of high-worth contributors known as the 'Foodbank Guardians of Western Australia'. To launch the programme, we created The Day That Hunger Ended - A Fable from The Future. The fable features the philanthropists themselves as the Guardians — unnamed figures who work with children to end hunger. By joining the Guardian programme, these philanthropists will help make this story a reality.
