Bayer with the support of BBDO Mexico, developed a kit that contains everything necessary to relieve different types of pain and discomforts: a simple Aspirin. Aspirin is considered one of the most versatile, reliable, and accessible medications in the world. Its active ingredient -acetylsalicylic acid- is used in the treatment of many diseases and illnesses, and its effect on other sufferings continues to be investigated. However, the younger generation doesn't consider it as a first option. With the intention of bringing Aspirin closer to the new generations and making them aware of its benefits, Bayer together with BBDO MX designed this unique first-aid kit, which can be always carried or placed anywhere to have it available when someone needs it. The idea, as simple as powerful, re-signifies what it means to have an Aspirin at hand. Aspirin is already considered a first aid medication; and what this action intends is becomes it an object of desire rather than a commodity in many homes. Hundreds of first-aid kits were made available to people at the site elbotiquinmaspequenodelmundo.com through an important Out of Home (OOH), digital, and social media campaign and the participation of some of Mexico's most popular influencers. Additionally with the help of important urban artists, a couple of murals were created that communicate the objective of the campaign from their perspective. Salvador Munca and Los Calladitos are the directors of the two works that can be gazed at Mexico City. All these actions are intended to connect with new generations and remind that 125 years after its creation, Aspirin continues to represent effective and safe relief for multiple pains, impacting positively in the health of millions of people.
