Warm, human, and tactile, these simple acts transcend the mundane and demonstrate the magic of everyday life. As the film unfolds in a series of vignettes, we see a young girl in long pigtails with her father, an older couple’s familiar embrace, and a father and son sitting shoulder-to-shoulder in the stands of a baseball field. Two friends wrap their arms around a heartbroken friend, bringing a smile to her face. Each scene radiates warmth and connection. As the film draws to a close, we watch as two hands wrap affectionately around the waist of a soft sweater.
