Lately, it seems as though everyone is talking about the same thing - AI. And, more specifically, the implications of AI on the future of work.
While some believe AI will bring forth exciting possibilities, others, including artists and programmers, are concerned about their livelihood.

These beliefs are also shared by the freelancer community. At Fiverr, an online marketplace for freelance talent, we recently introduced new AI categories to address the growing demand for AI-related services and knew we had to address the concerns in our community. We wanted to voice a positive message and call upon our freelancers to embrace this new technology. To do this, we wrote a letter to AI.

We ran a full-page ad in the New York Times with an open letter to AI from Fiverr's founder and CEO, Micah Kaufman.
The letter flips the script by reassuring AI we do not intend to render it obsolete but rather to work together, hand in figurative hand.
In other words, we come in peace.
