Campaign: Don't get marked forever by Durex® Puerto Rico
Our campaign uses tattoos as a visual analogy to represent the mark of a sexually transmitted disease and aims to educate individuals about the importance of protecting themselves during sexual activity. The campaign consists of three high-impact ads, each representing a couple engaging in sexual activity - a gay couple, a heterosexual couple, and a threesome. The talents' tattoos interact with each other, representing the spread of an STD by not protecting oneself. We believe that our campaign will resonate with your audience and provide them with important information about how diseases can be transmitted from body to body, even without presenting visible symptoms. Furthermore, it is important to highlight that STDs continue to be a significant risk for sexually active people around the world. In Puerto Rico, the Department of Health has noted a substantial increase in STD cases, including gonorrhea and genital herpes, reaching its highest peak in the last 10 years. According to the article "Project Zero: End of the HIV Epidemic" published by the Puerto Rico Department of Health, 50,869 people were diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in Puerto Rico, which is a worrisome figure. We hope that our campaign will contribute to raising awareness of the importance of protecting oneself during sexual activity and ultimately help to reduce the spread of STDs.
