Banco Fassil decided to contribute to the fight against the economic crisis caused by the COVID -19 pandemic by creating new opportunities through banking. We launched a new savings account called "Cuenta Fabulosa", under the concept "Saving is already winning”. Despite the challenges of running an integrated campaign during the pandemic, Banco Fassil achieved a 443% increase in savings account openings in just 13 months (February 28th, 2021 to March 31st, 2022) compared to the previous period, climbing from 10th to 8th place in the ranking of savings accounts in the Bolivian banking system. More than 368.962 new savings accounts were opened, meaning that 1 in 3 new savings accounts in the Bolivian banking system belonged to Banco Fassil during that period, having direct impact on the financial inclusion and digitization of bolivians.
