The spots out of San Antonio agency Bromley Communications target Latino audiences with funny scenarios built around Coors’ ice-cold Rocky Mountain flavor. One opens with a shot of a mountain as an avalanche erupts. As the snow cascades down, it morphs into ice circling the top of a “vented” wide mouth can of Coors Light. That leads into a party scene. …
Filmworkers Club colorist Dave Francis helped to set the tone for the party by giving the scene a soft-toned look, “so that we could isolate the product and make it pop more,” he said. … Francis took a similar course with Code Blue, a spot where people in a barbershop, on a golf course and in an office drop what they’re doing when then get a “code blue” message, a reference to a Coors label that changes color when the beer is ready to drink. Everyone ends up at a party in a bar. …Filmworkers Club Dallas Puts Coors on Ice … Studio Handles Post Work for New Campaign Continuing “Cold” Theme … Filmworkers Club (Dallas) applied the finishing touch to a new campaign for Coors, crafting some cool looks to show how the beer “refreshes your world.” … “The bar scene is really beautiful,” Francis observed. “It has a rich, mahogany wood look.” … The two other spots were colored by Matt McClain. In one, people suffering through sweltering heat during a power outage celebrate the arrival of the Silver Bullet train. In the fourth spot, two guys digging through an ice chest in search of a cold beer are surprised by a third man who pulls a frosty, 24-ounce can of Coors from the adjacent bin.
