Vodafone Hungary’s latest campaign proves that remote work doesn’t always isolate us: it can also bring us closer together. The brand turns home office into Granny office, helping Hungary’s huge population of lonely elderly people. It is estimated that 750,000 elderly people live alone in Hungary. Loneliness becomes an ever bigger problem later in life, as people socialize less. To prove that Vodafone’s internet can strenghten all connections in the home, the brand encourages Millennial and Gen Z grandchildren to spend one of their home office days a month in their grandparents’ home. This allows these two generations to connect more, be more integrated into each other’s lives and spend more quality time together. The campaign kicks off with a film where a granny shows us around Granny office – a.k.a. her home.
