The campaign, promoting Burger King’s plant-based menu, marks Forsman & Bodenfors’ first work for Burger King since winning the account for the Scandinavian market earlier this year. Directed by Vedran Rupic and Gustav Sundström at Business Club Royale, the spot shows a simple taste test getting completely out of hand. The spot opens with a pregnant woman playfully asking her partner to guess which one of two burgers is plant-based. The overconfident young man’s stubbornness results in a broken family, a son with facial tattoos and a wasted life. And plot twist: both burgers are plant-based. The campaign has been running on national TV and social media in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. During the launch Burger King also converted some of their most popular restaurants to exclusively serve plant-based meals.
