CoCo Tea Philippines is a fresh tea and juice brand, primarily known for its boba milk tea. The brand wanted to obtain business from coffee drinkers.

What makes milk tea unique from coffee is the cup’s plastic cover and how drinkers stab their straw through it – which can be a form of catharsis to some.

The team positioned the drinks as a source of stress relief and management — so when you’re stressed: get yourself a CoCo Tea drink, strike your straw through the lid, and relieve yourself of stress.

Going through a slew of minor inconveniences, the titular character ends up releasing her stress by striking a giant CoCo cup each time — highlighting the relief of taking that first stab at a boba milk tea lid.

The film garnered almost 17M views across Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter, and around 800K engagements among netizens 2 weeks after its release.
