it is vital to acknowledge that numerous deadly
weapons have the potential to inflict destruction on
a scale comparable to that of a bomb, tank, or
missile.

Censorship, can be as cruel as a deadly bomb, by
limiting freedom of expression, can stifle the truth
and generate deleterious effects.
By acting as an oppressive control mechanism, it
erodes the essential foundations of democracy by
limiting the diversity of opinions and hindering the
authentic dissemination of information.

This initiative seeks to raise awareness of the
devastating impact of war (whatever its nature) on
humanity while urging action for peace and an end
to violence across the world.
