To launch Doritos Collisions in the UK, AMV BBDO has created a quirky digital campaign that lives as much offline as it does online. The concept behind Collisions is simple – 2 flavours in 1 bag. So AMV BBDO have kept their idea equally uncomplicated and turned the four Collisions flavours into mascots and pitched them into a real life Doritos wrestling ring. The first round of wrestling took place on 7th August 2008 at the Se1 club in London Bridge. The event was be filmed and launched across multiple social network platforms and the Doritos.co.uk brand site. Following this, the characters will go on a regional tour across six major cities in the UK.
