Alzheimers Organization: Waiting for breakfast

The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that around 60 million people globally are living with Alzheimer's disease. Of this group, 8.1% are women and 5.4% are men over the age of 65. Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative condition that affects memory, thinking and physical function. As the disease progresses, people need more care. Here are some ways to help those with Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's Organization works to establish a support system with work, family, friends and faith groups.
