The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that around 60 million people globally are living with Alzheimer's disease. Of this group, 8.1% are women and 5.4% are men over the age of 65. Alzheimer's disease is a neurodegenerative condition that affects memory, thinking and physical function. As the disease progresses, people need more care.
