This film pokes fun at the contemporary corporate hustle, from camera-off Zoom meetings taken into the bathroom to a wilting desk lunch. This new “tea break” plays on the term's historical roots. Tea break’s original debut harks back to when technological advancement led to a need for a work recess during the Industrial Revolution. Introducing language that celebrates a moment of rest, “Tea Break” playfully flips the script on perceptions of taking a breather from constant productivity.
