Top 6: August 21st 2024
For 17 years, PAK’nSAVE, New Zealand’s low-priced supermarket, has used a 2D Stickman as their low-cost mascot – aptly named Stickman. And in that time, Stickman has become a bit of an icon. In fact, he’s so well known, PAK’nSAVE managed to convince TVNZ, New Zealand’s largest TV network, to hire him as their summer intern.

Instead of paying for expensive pre-Christmas media space, Stickman introduced TV shows, announced maturity ratings, presented the weather, and managed social media. They even let him, re-recorded the network’s automated phone line. And while it seemed innocent enough, he was able to quietly cram in hundreds of low priced gags and shameless plugs for PAK’nSAVE.
