Detran/RN: Every Hour 2

This campaign was created to raise awareness about a disturbing statistic. The Walfredo Gurgel Hospital in Natal, a trauma care reference, treats an average of one motorcycle accident victim per hour. From January to October 2023, there were 6,998 cases, a 12% increase from the previous year, averaging 700 patients per month (over 23 per day, or one per hour). These data are from the State Health Department.
