The 'MSF Orienteering Competition 2008' is an event that supports Medecins Sans Frontieres delivering medical aids to inhospitable areas.
The objective is twofold: To raise funds to deliver emergency medical aid to isolated areas; and raise awareness through orienteering. By overcoming tough challenges to reach predetermined checkpoints, participants can experience the hardship that real-life patients face when they desperately need medical aid in remote areas.
