PTT wants to introduce the new vision “Together for Sustainable Thailand, Sustainable world.” to the public, especially the young generation. However, there’s research revealed some significant perception gap that Gen Y and Gen Z believe energy companies don’t care about the environment and green energy as the future.
And we found a cultural insight of them that when young Thais feel frustrated about their country’s future, they often say they want to “move abroad” in search of a better place to live. This skepticism made it crucial to shift their perception and build a deeper connection with them. Instead of challenging these concerns head-on, we saw an opportunity to reframe their perspective and position our brand as an active force for change—proving that a more sustainable and hopeful future is possible, right here at home.
To bring this idea to life, we introduced Mr. Alien, a character who fled his ruined planet in search of a thriving, livable world. He met an astronaut from the Earth who was on the mission of searching the new thriving world as well. But it turns out that the earth is the best one already. And if all of us together save it, it will even be a better world, better home for everyone with the balanced sustainability which is the priority of PTT’s mission.
