Life with pets isn’t always picture-perfect, but it’s always full of personality. Chewy’s newest campaign highlights the entertaining, unpredictable moments that pet parents know all … read moretoo well–whether it’s welcoming home a rescue, taming a toy destroyer, or answering the call of a very hungry cat. Inspired by real life experiences, the spots celebrate these unpredictable moments that make life with pets so rewarding.
This campaign was developed in-house by Chewy, and produced in collaboration with David Shafei, commercial director and founder of World War Seven, known for his comedic storytelling and character-driven work. The spots showcase the many ways Chewy supports pet parents every day, with fast delivery, essential medications, trusted customer care, and a wide selection of food and supplies. It’s all part of one simple promise: For life with pets, there’s Chewy.
The furry, feisty, and full-of-flair stars of the TV spots include:
• Dash, the recent rescue: Dave’s new dog, Dash, came running into his life and has swept him right off his feet. Thankfully, Chewy has everything Dash and Dave will ever need together–at great prices and delivered faster than a neighborhood squirrel.
• Homer, the homebody: Homer is the self-proclaimed king of the couch and ruler of the rightmost cushion. His greatest nemesis is the great outdoors. Thankfully, Mom uses Chewy Pharmacy for his flea & tick medication to keep his majesty protected when nature calls.
• Rex, the wrecking dog: Rex is a new addition to the household–and he’s slowly destroying it. Good thing Mom and Dad use Chewy Live Chat, where helpful humans are available 24/7 to offer helpful guidance like tips, tricks, and even toy suggestions to keep Rex (somewhat) in check.
• Kitty, the hungry customer: Not only are Kitty’s eyes pretty, they’re pretty fixated on one thing–dinner. And the moment Mom locks into those eyes, all she has to do is log into Chewy and get just what Kitty has in mind—Fancy Feast, delivered fast. It’s love served at low prices.
