Many women who experience abuse fall into the traps of men who are cruel, controlling, and violent.
But abuse rarely begins with aggression.
In most cases, it starts with a false image of kindness a mask designed to deceive.
That is why recognizing the danger in time can be so difficult.
What begins as manipulation can escalate into abuse, sexual violence, physical harm, and even death.

At Fundación SER, we work to prevent abuse through awareness, early action, and reporting.
Our mission is to encourage you to speak up and report abuse as soon as you recognize it even when the aggressor is someone you already know.

By acting early, you can help prevent situations that neither you nor your loved ones should ever have to endure.

This campaign exists to raise awareness:
to avoid deception,

and to truly understand who someone is because knowing the difference can mean the line between a good man and a real predator.
