The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House is the only museum in Australia dedicated to telling the story of the journey of our democracy. The brief for Hot Knife Creative was to make people think about the way of life and political system that defines their way of life and get excited about actively getting involved in knowing more about it by visiting this new cultural attraction. The concept of Democracy is hard to define succinctly and is often confused with boring politics. The challenge was to make democracy engaging and it was a great pleasure to have the pick of events that shook Australian democracy, not everything got through research groups but we still got an ad that makes you think. Australia's political history like most countries is controversial in areas so the best strategy was to put it to the people to decide, after all isn't that the spirit of democracy.
