In 1961 JFK set a goal for the US to put a man on the moon within the decade. Apollo 11 fulfilled that dream on July 20, 1969. This site honors the trip using 2009 technology. For the next four days, until the shuttle lands on Monday afternoon, the site will host a complete recreation of the historic event in real time.
