/Berlin, September 10, 2009. HEADs international account holder Aimaq & Stolle Berlin once again continues to actively implement its innovation-driven brand management strategy. With"radical Messenger" it is bringing the tennis star Andy Murray, currently ranked number two
in the world, in a completely new way to more than 200 million Facebook users. By doing so, HEAD is not only demonstrating what its new racket can do, it is also inducing the Web community to actively engage with the product in an entertaining way. For the launch of the new HEAD “ouTek Radical Pro”tennis racket, currently used by HEAD player Andy Murray, the Berlin-based agency is setting up a Facebook application online that will allow the user to send messages by writing the text on a virtual tennis ball. The deliverer of the message is none other than Andy Murray himself, who the user can control via microphone or mouse click, getting him to play spectacular shots. The microphone option in particular is a novel way of using the application interactively the louder the user shouts "mon Andy!"(often heard when he is playing), the more spectacular the message ball will be hit. There are six curious and powerful types of shot to admire in the film sequence, which was filmed in Miami, Florida, including how Andy Murray shoots down a satellite, satirizes Kobe Bryant's famous “ar jump,”or hands his grandmother his racket.Facebook link:http://apps.facebook.com/radicalmessenger/ Microsite link: http://radicalmessenger.head.com/Press link: http://www.asberlin.com/head
