Child Hope is a well-established NGO with a deep emotional cache with Filipinos. The problem was that it didn't have enough channels to receive donations. With 90% of FIlipinos on mobile phones, there seemed to be just one channel that they really needed to activate. Mobile numbers were solicited through this banner ad placed on major local websites. To donate, people just had to input their number. They would receive an SMS message confirming their donation. The banner animates accordingly, while a thank you message from Childhope confirms receipt of donation as well. An emotionally satisfying & simple way to give to Filipino children.
