The Close-Up brand is about bringing people together in order to get closer. Lowe Vietnam developed a website for Close-Up toothpaste called "Fresh City" on which people could create avatars and meet each other in a virtual world. We then needed to advertise the website and made these viral videos to attract people to register.
To bring people to the Fresh city website, we decided to advertise a product that doesn't exist, the love potion. In these videos we show situations where the potion actually works. First, we released a video that ended with a Warning about the love potion. Then we released two more videos that gave them a URL to buy the potion. When people logged onto www.lovepotion.com they get redirected to the fresh city website in which there is a love potion store.
