Boost Mobile, a leader in the no-contract wireless industry,Via 180 Los Angeles unveils its latest campaign today featuring a 20-foot tall giant who is having a rough time dealing with his oversized stature. Boost Mobile $50 Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage can’t shrink all of the challenges associated with being a giant in a normal sized world, but it can shrink the monthly payments on his/her no-contract unlimited plan available on the Nationwide Sprint Network with on-time payments.

“Like our Giant, we’ve all wished we could shrink something, especially cell phone payments,” said Caralene Robinson, director-Brand and Marketing communications, Boost Mobile. “With Boost’s Shrinkage plan the longer you stay, the less you pay. Our customers, big or small, can watch their monthly payment shrink from $50 to as low as $35/month by simply making 18 on-time payments.”

Last month, Boost Mobile introduced Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage <http://plans.boostmobile.com/planhub.aspx> , an industry first. For every six on-time payments, a customer’s monthly cost will shrink by $5, eventually getting down to $35 a month for unlimited nationwide talk, text, Web, e-mail, IM and calls to 411. A customer’s on-time monthly payment date is the same day each month and each on-time payment moves the customer’s monthly cost toward the lower monthly payment amounts. Consumers who miss their monthly payment date will not be penalized; they will not lose any on-time payments accrued toward the next Shrinkage payment milestone or lose any reduced monthly payment already achieved.

Shrinkage is available with Boost Mobile Monthly Unlimited and BlackBerry Monthly Unlimited plans. Existing Boost Mobile customers simply go to www.boostmobile.com <http://www.boostmobile.com> or call 1-888-BOOST-4U to sign up for Shrinkage. New Boost customers activating on the $50 or $60 BlackBerry Monthly Unlimited plans will automatically be part of Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage.

The spot will begin airing today and will feature the Samsung Seek available now for $149.99. Boost Mobile’s first touchscreen device with a slide-out QWERTY keypad, the Seek is designed to deliver easy access to multiple messaging options and popular social networking sites.

“Grocery Store”, the first spot will begin airing today on 18 networks and cable TV stations, including ABC, FOX, Adult Swim, E!, A&E, ESPN, BET, Spike, Comedy Central and MTV. “Ice Skater,” the second spot, featuring a giant skating on thin ice, will begin airing later this month.

The creative behind these commercials once again comes from Boost Mobile’s advertising agency of record, 180LA.

“Giants have always been glamorized in the public eye, but the truth is being that large comes with obvious setbacks,” said Ari Weiss, creative director, 180LA. “Giants seemed to be the perfect spokespeople for a campaign featuring the upside of shrinking.”
