PROBLEM: The IKEA concept had become blurred, which was surprising. After all it's this simple: "you do your part, we do our part, together we save money".
SOLUTION: We gave video cameras to four real families to record their IKEA experience. With their cameras rolling, they all furnished a room from planning and shopping, to building and house warming. The tapes were edited into mini documentaries that served as inspiration on the IKEA website and on a web-tv channel. Lilja and Lumimarja It's all about the kids What happens when the little sweethearts Lilja and Lumimarja get to choose the furniture and wallpaper for their room? And what does mum think of the result? The Kumpula commune Four guys and a sofa Late, Matsku, Pena and Ila live under the same roof and their living room furniture is crumbling underneath them. What's their solution? Tania and Ukko Spicing up the relationship Tania and Ukko are decorating their new home in Kallio. Whose opinion weighs more when Mexican expressiveness and Finnish minimalism meet?
