BMW: Activate the futureTop 6: February 16th 2011
BMW has released a series of interactive web films on the future of transport called Wherever You Want To Go: The Future of Mobility.
Housed on BMW USA's website and uploaded to all good film sharing sites, the first episode, released on February 1st, is titled The New City and focuses on how modern city living is affecting how we travel around. Dreamt up by Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners, subsequent episodes of the series will be released weekly over the next month. They will look at past predictions for the future and whether they proved true, where personal transportation is going - literally - and the possibilities of technology. Beautifully shot, the films feature some seriously highbrow contributors including astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Blade Runner set designer Syd Mead, Virgin Galactic CEO George Whitesides, Google VP of consumer products Marissa Mayer and Treehugger founder Graham Hill.
Executive Producer - Prologue: Alexander Dervin |
