------------------------------------ The La Mesa Watershed is the only source of drinking water for the entire Metro Manila. Recently, 59 hectares of the area was awarded to a few thousand claimants working for the water company. Allowing them to take up residence in the reservoir would lead to the contamination of drinking water for more than 12 million Filipinos. Creative Commentary ------------------------------------ There is not much concern for the safety of our drinking water. This series seeks to end the apathy and to get people to support the movement.
