ShelterBox: Disaster MovieTop 6: April 20th 2011
Disaster relief charity ShelterBox, has been working with advertising agency JWT London, on a pro bono basis to develop a cinema ad to open discussion about how the public responds to disasters portrayed in the media.
The film plays out as a Hollywood blockbuster movie trailer, but with a difference. At the end of the footage there is a call to action and consumers are invited to donate online at www.shelterbox.org. The ad is rated PG and will be shown in 300 cinemas across the UK for two weeks from 22 April. The production of the film and the screenings in cinemas have all been donated free of charge to ShelterBox.
