Jeep and SapientNitro New York are bringing the digital excitement of popular Activision video game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to the real world. A new digital campaign launched this week to introduce the 2012 Jeep Wrangler, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) Special Edition vehicle. The digital campaign is one component of the automaker's estimated $10 million overall ad campaign to promote the vehicle, which has already sold out in pre-orders.

At the center of Jeep's campaign is new entertainment-geared Facebook content designed to tease and engage gamers. In tandem with Monday's launch of the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game, the campaign is a partnership between Jeep and Activision. It features challenges, contests, and games that offer players the opportunity to compete for a chance to win one of the first Call of Duty: MW3 Edition Jeep Wranglers.

The campaign, created by SapientNitro, will be introduced through social media, online advertising, and mass media, and will drive users to Jeep's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/jeep). Once engaged, users can participate in a sweepstakes and play a rich, interactive game to increase their odds of winning the grand prize. Exclusive Call of Duty content has also been developed for Jeep.com, promoting events and more information about this special edition vehicle.
