LANCOME: Hypnose Star (By Joann Sfar)

Joann Sfar signs his first commercial film by Publicis 133/ Wam Paris for Lancôme staring supermodel Daria Werbowy and Betty Boop. The Cesar winning director (for his film Gainsbourg Vie HéroÏque) brought the sexpot cartoon back to life with a stroke of his pencil while the photography was masterfully carried out by Cesar winning DOP Guillaume Schiffman (The Artist). Meanwhile, the classic cartoon music was given a new spin by Olivier Davio, for a final result at that seems like a scene right out of a feature film.
