Any gamer will tell you the excitement for the new Super Mario Bros. 2 has been building for months! Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GSP) is proud to welcome the game into the world with its first TV spot, “Coin Craze.” To continue to build excitement for the game, GSP leverages some of the most iconic elements of the franchise in this spot, from the unmistakable “power-up” noise to sparkling rotating coins (all of which had to be quality checked by the Nintendo team in Japan to ensure game accuracy and consistent aesthetics). In this new spot, GSP showcased what all Mario games are really about: cashing in with the most of gold coins. “Coin Craze” captures the rush associated with collecting gold coins and also highlights new features, including new power-ups and new worlds for Mario to explore.
