The African Medical Research Foundation (AMREF) worked with BBH London on a campaign that makes good use of Pinterest to highlight the plight of very young African mothers. It focuses on Sihiba, a young girl in Tanzania who had a baby at 11, who has been given an iPhone and a Pinterest page in order to record the things she needs in daily life. AMREF wants to highlight the contrast between Western lives with lists of 'things we want' and women who actually need things; it's encouraging the Pinterest community to share and comment on her images.
