Greenpeace: Save the ArcticTop 6: February 27th 2013
As the Arctic sea ice melts, the oil corporation giants of the world are moving in to drill and plunder the reserves that were once untouchable. This short film from DHM, London for Greenpeace's 'Save The Arctic' campaign imagines the consequences an oil spill would have on the fragile environment through a series of 2D animated transitions projected onto ice. We see the pristine white landscape become black as the oil seeps and engulfs the land, while the Arctic's inhabitants like the Snowy Owl, Narwhal and Polar Bear struggle to live on. Help stop the drilling now, or say goodbye to the Arctic.
