New York City Ballet: Les Ballets de FaileTop 6: March 13th 2013
In order to attract a younger audience to the New York City Ballet, DDB New York commissioned the urban art duo of Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, aka Faile, to produce original works of art. Together, we created "The Great Tower of Faile", a 40-foot Jenga-like sculpture, which included more than five thousand hand painted 2"x2" blocks. After the show, every audience member walked away with a part of the sculpture; a one-of-a-kind piece of Faile art and a permanent reminder of the Art Series performances.
